Size Guide

Finding the right size is essential to ensure that your Chroma Shop garments fit you perfectly. Below you’ll find some tips and guidelines to help you choose the correct size.

Product Size Information

Each product on our website comes with a dedicated size chart. Measurements are typically provided in both centimeters (cm) and inches to accommodate both European and North American customers.

We recommend relying on these specific measurements rather than the general size label (S, M, L, etc.), as the fit can vary slightly depending on the garment’s model or supplier.

How to Measure Your Body

To determine the right size, it can be helpful to measure certain parts of your body using a soft measuring tape:

  • Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal and snug (but not tight) just under your armpits.

  • Waist: Measure the narrowest part of your waist (usually just above the navel), keeping the tape comfortably tight.

  • Hips: (For pants, skirts, or fitted items) Measure around the widest part of your hips, generally at the level of your buttocks.

Once you have your measurements, compare them to the size chart listed on the product page you’re interested in.

How to Measure an Existing Garment

Another great way to determine your size is by measuring a similar item you already own and that fits you well:

  • For t-shirts, sweaters, and hoodies:
Lay the item flat on a surface.

    • Measure the width from armpit to armpit (the distance between the side seams below the sleeves).

    • Measure the length from the top of the shoulder (near the collar) down to the bottom hem.
On our charts, these may be referred to as “half chest” and “total length”.
Tip: Double the width measurement to estimate the garment’s chest circumference and compare it with your own chest measurement.

  • For pants/skirts:

    • Measure the waist circumference at the top of the garment (or measure the flat waistband and double it).

    • Measure the outer leg length from the waist to the bottom hem, or the full skirt length.

  • For hats/caps:
Usually, the internal circumference is given in cm.

    • Measure around your head where the hat would sit (e.g., across your forehead and just above your ears) to find your size.

Size Conversions & Fit Standards

Our sizing (XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, etc.) follows commonly used international standards.
In most cases, if you typically wear a Medium in other brands, a Medium should fit you here too.

However, slight variations may exist. For example:

  • Some items are labeled as unisex fit, meaning they may be slightly roomier for women compared to traditional women’s sizing.

  • Other items may be labeled slim fit, meaning they are more tailored and form-fitting.

We do our best to indicate in each product description if a garment runs large, small, or has a unique cut to help guide your choice.

Helpful Tips for Choosing Your Size

  • If your measurements fall between two sizes, we recommend selecting the larger size to ensure comfort, unless you prefer a more fitted look.

  • Consider the type of fabric: materials like cotton may shrink slightly after the first wash (always follow the care instructions on the label). If you’re on the edge of a size, this could be a reason to size up.

  • When in doubt, feel free to contact our customer service — we’ll gladly help you choose the best size based on our experience and the product’s specifications.

🎯 Choosing the correct size not only helps avoid return issues (especially since, as stated in our Returns & Exchanges policy, we do not offer size exchanges for made-to-order products), but also ensures you enjoy your new Chroma Shop item to the fullest — from the very first wear!
